not bad...

The drums are good, but where's the heavy bass...? This sounds more like a breakbeat than DnB. DnB involves more of a heavy, fastpaced drumset with a slightly distorted acidy bass. If you're looking for inspiration, look up ParagonX9's audio and take notes. This isn't bad, but it sounds out of place from the rest of the genre. Keep trying though^_^

i guess it's breakbeat then, i don't know electronic genres that well. i wasn't trying to make it drum and bass. also, im not trying to sound like paragonx9. i prefer taking inspiration from people like aphex twin and amon tobin - no offense to paragonx9. thanks for the score.

ya know...

I really recommend using reason 3.0... The song itself is short, the keys and bass didn't harmonize right. And where's the creepy part? I'm listening to this right now and this sounds more like a boss fight in a video game. The high pitch keys get really annoying. Perhaps if you're really shooting for the creepy factor is to slow the next project down to about 100-110 BPM and generate some really hollow sfx, like you're in a forest in the middle of the night. After that, generate a low bassline and low piano riffs to harmonize. THis would be good if it were in the video game area instead of misc. Just consider what you're doing the next time and ask yourself what the final edit sounds like and where it goes. Keep trying.

nice track...

The intro kinda threw me off a little until the song kicked in. good blend of the drums and the strings... however, the bass could a little deepening, but that's just me... and it would help if you extended it a little. GOod song nonetheless^_^

I'm not too big a fan of hip-hop, but this reminds me of the days of biggie and pac before this whole "hip-hop-is-bad-for-you" thing started. I can chill out to this with a bottle of good inported beer and a barbecue^_^. good job man.

in all honesty...

This didn't sound that much like DnB, more like techno, which hurts the score a bit. Maybe if you put this in techno instead of DnB your score here will be much much higher. good try though and this gets a three from me.

Actually there's more drumline in this than you can hear, I was an idiot when I remastered this and forgot I had it faded all the way to one channel and lowered the volume to it >.< in short, it was victim to the cutoff in one of the filters...I'll get the better version in later when I get the chance

I love trance, preferably ambient trance, this does my taste a bit of justice. The beat and keys really balance out here. A big thing people miss about putting together a trance (myself included) is that blend of bass and keys. Good job nonetheless. This song reminds me so much of MegaMan 8's Astro Man's stage. good job.

a couple of things...

The drum set is a bit on the loud side. The guitar riffs are good, but they sound too... "generated". perhaps if you round out the sound a bit, it'll turn out to be a helluvalot better. Loved the bassline^_^

I like the progression here. In my opinion, this would go great with an RPG style game, a battle sequence maybe or a movie featuring the hero losing a battle. Something along those effects. Good job man^_^
